Turning community challenges into green-economy opportunities
The challenge
The Itsoseng community initiative needed to move beyond community awareness and create a structured pathway for young people to participate in the green economy — entrepreneurship, environmental skills, waste management, farming and alternative income-generation.
What we did
Supported the development of the Ecopreneurship and Circular Economy programme, including the training framework, entrepreneurship content, leadership development, biogas, waste management and farming components, plus orientation and registration processes.
Impact
Progressed from a community concept into a structured development programme, with community engagement resulting in a cohort of 50 delegates expressing interest in the training.
